Studio / Cloud Hybrid Radio

Hybrid Radio combines the traditional physical radio studios with cutting edge cloud technology to deliver an ultra robust, professional radio platform offering the best of both worlds.

• Combines Myriad Cloud with traditional Myriad 6 Playout & studio hardware.
• Content can be added to either the Myriad Cloud system or the local studio system.
• Content, schedule and settings are automatically bi-bidirectionally synchronised.
• Myriad Cloud is the primary playout system for your station.
• Myriad Anywhere is used for scheduling, admin, voice tracking & live shows (not coming from your studios).
• Live, studio shows can be ingested by Myriad Cloud for broadcast.
• Transmission chains fed from Myriad Cloud directly.
• Possible to feed transmission chains directly from studio.
• When you finish your live studio shows, switch off all your equipment, turn the lights off and walk away safe in the knowledge that your Myriad Cloud system is broadcasting for you!

Disaster Recovery

With luck, your station will never need to recover from a disaster that prevents you from broadcasting, but should the worst happen, it is good to know that your station has it covered with our Disaster Recovery solution.

Stations with a Disaster Recovery plan can rest easy knowing that should their broadcast facilities become inaccessible or compromised, they can switch to a Myriad Cloud system that has all their latest audio, schedule and data, just waiting to start broadcasting!

• Dormant Myriad Cloud system that can be activated and broadcasting in minutes.
• Automatic synchronisation of adverts, songs, links, voice tracks, schedule log and all other data, every 15 minutes.
• In the event of a disaster, login to your Myriad Cloud portal and activate your backup system.
• Present live shows, voice track and continue to operate your station via Myriad Anywhere.
• Output can be streamed to your transmission partners and platforms.
• Use the same process for planned outages or to perform studio maintenance.
• Plan includes 48 hours of broadcasting a month. For longer periods, simply switch from a DR plan to a full Myriad Cloud plan (minimum 1 month).

Cloud / Edge Appliance

Our Myriad Edge Appliance allows you to add a robust, lightweight physical playout solution to your station racks or transmission site, whilst retaining all the benefits of a cloud based solution. All station content, scheduling, voice tracking and administration is done via the Myriad Cloud web interface. New content, changed content or updates to the schedule log are continuously synchronised to a light weight PC located in your station racks (or even the transmission tower). Instead of running full Myriad Playout software, the Edge Appliance runs lightweight Myriad Playout daemons  for ultimate speed and reliability. This means that your station will continue to broadcast even if you lose your connection to the internet! This solution is not suitable for stations with live shows but is great for 24/7 automated and voice tracked services.

• All content, scheduling and station management is done via the Myriad Cloud web client.
• Presenters can edit and voice track shows as normal.
• New content, changed content and changes to the Log are continuously synchronised to the Edge Appliance PC.
• Edge Appliance can be located in your technical area, control room or even at the transmitter site.
• Lightweight Myriad Playout daemons are used to provide a fast, robust solution without heavy hardware requirements.
